The MoMA Experience

The Museum of Modern Art also known as MoMA at New York, is a museum that displays remarkable and inspiring work.. That's what I discovered in June 2009 on a trip to NYC. I walked in thinking it would be a just one of "those" trips to a museum (in short, a trifle monotonous). But I was so wrong!!
It is a completely rewarding and enriching experience that one just cannot overlook when visiting New York City.

Cut and fold exercise

This project involved creating spaces by cutting and folding a single sheet of white card paper. 


I used light and darkness with respect to the model created to fully express the potential of the form...

Proposed Residential School on a 50 acre site in the heart of the suburbs of Mumbai.


Even a fleeting mention of a residential school elicits an image of a resplendent landscape, a seemingly Victorian structure, and a tranquil environment.
Yet the idea of a residential school, right in the heart of a bustling city like Mumbai, is not only an ironical idea as the cliche goes, but also a necessity brought out of practicality.


If money is what keeps Mumbai going, practicality is what keeps it breathing; every aspect of the city is need based, every germination is logic induced, and every process is consequent to a need for convenience.
